The Rotary Club of West Seattle has teamed up with the Senior Center of West Seattle to do Spring and Fall yardwork for selected West Seattle seniors. The seniors are chosen by Holly, the social worker at the Senior Center, and two yards are evaluated for appropriate work that can be accomplished on a Saturday afternoon. Rotarian volunteers cleaned up two yards in May 2016, plan to do two more in June and three or four more in the Fall. The club hopes to recruit students and other volunteers for future work parties.
